Spring in S. Korea
Hey Guys! Back again with another late post. Well I’ll be posting past travels since I didn’t post anything since 2016. I know it’s really late for a spring post but it was my first time seeing so many cherry blossoms. so here are some of the things that we did in S. Korea. Here’s a video on what happened last April.
This is actually a group tour that we handled last spring. We went to the usual places and ate yummy food. What’s extra special is that Sheila, My high school friend joined the tour. My neighbors when i was young also joined the tour and i’m psyched that I have people my age in the group tour. If you wanna see the itinerary I made a blog post in our travel agency’s blog click here.
We saw a lot of Cherry Blossoms and they are worth the hype. I always see them in Animes when I was a kid and seeing one in person is just unimaginable! I mean it’s not my first cherry blossom but it’s my first cherry blossom experience that there was alot in a row and they are just there existing in the wild streets of Seoul.
Other than pretty cherry blossoms everywhere there are also pretty flowers everywhere. Particularly tulips! I mean i’m not a flower person but i got to admit they really look beautiful and healthy. Smell wise I can’t really smell anything.
Petite France & Nami Island
This is basically a K. Drama day! Nami Island was popular for Winter Sonata while Petite France was popular from My Love form the star. It’s always a must place to visit when in Korea.
Mt. Sorak & Everland
This day however is alot more active. We trekked up Mt. Sorak then went and rode crazy rides at the theme park. I know Everland was big but damnnnn it was just hella big with all those different rides and photo ops. half a was not enough. Definitely gonna go back there again hopefully on a solo trip.
Everland looks beautiful as always. It caters to both the younger and older demographic. It has crazy rides and beautiful flowers.
Can I just say this ride was insane! What’s more insane was I rode it while wearing a skirt! I was half worried i’d expose my self to S. Korea and the other half of me was worried my inner seoul would leave me behind.
It goes around and spins 360 clockwise and counter clockwise. Oh I also saw a lot of guys in soldier uniforms. So much Descendant of Sun Vibes lol. Also a whole lot of Couples.
Hanok Village and Myeongdong
The group actually went to Gyeongbok Palace and The N-Seoul Tower but since some of us needs to go to church we left out those places so we could go to church. As a Travel Agent I felt bad having my other clients not being able to see those places. So I found an alternative near our hotel so After church we went directly to Namsan Hanok Village, It’s a old Hanok Village where you can see how people lived before. It was cultural and they enjoyed it and that made me happy. I didn’t took much photos since I was the one taking their photos for them. Afterward we headed back to the hotel then joined the rest of the group to shop!
Hyeongdae, Namdaemun, Kimchi Making, and Hanbok Wearing
Another day, Another Shopping. This is the agenda in most of our group tour! I even scored 2 Bags each worth 10,000KRW which equates to around P500.00 each! I don’t know about you but that’s definitely a good find. We also went and made Kimchi then wore Hanbok Dresses cuz when in Korea you should look Korean lol. HAHAHA. K, BYE.
I know there’s not much in this post just because I already linked what happened. I would post a different blog for the different places I’ve been too like Nami Island and Mt. Sorak. There’s just too much photos.
